Welcome To The Rising Music Festival: We Can Impact The Industry

We are beginning to feel the excitement in Whitehill and Bordon as we prepare for the inaugural Rising Music Festival! Recently featured in The Herald, with appearances in Mill Hill Music as-well as Radio Interviews, this event will mark a significant moment in our local music scene. The community has shown overwhelming support, and the local talent is roaring and ready to take to the stage. This festival promises a weekend filled with exhilarating performances across multiple genres—it's not just an event; it’s a movement poised to transform the music industry.

Why Local Youth Talent?

The music landscape is ever-changing, and young musicians are stepping up with remarkable passion and talent, however, gaining visibility is the step where we see young musicians struggle the most.

As a 21 year old musician myself, I see first-hand how those under 18 face setbacks on venue choices, small fan base, less experience, amongst so many more challenges. The Rising Music Festival aims to change that. By providing a platform for these budding artists, the festival connects them with enthusiastic audiences eager to discover fresh sounds, whilst nourishing their talent, and providing step-by-step mentoring to guide them onto Glastonbury and beyond.

The lineup isn’t just about headlining acts but showcases over 30 local artists across genres like rock, pop, indie, and electronic music. We also aim to provide a platform for upcoming comediants, magicians, graphic designers, photgraphers, videographers and more, with multiple exciting opportunities on offer.

This diverse offering ensures that everyone can find something to enjoy.

Community Support: The Heartbeat of the Festival

What makes this festival truly beautiful is the overwhelming support from the local community. Industry professionals, schools, and future audience members are all begining to come together, providing a helping hand, and confidence that they support our aim and goals. This enthusiasm is exactly what I aimed for, making artists feel valued and recognised.

A Vision for the Future

The Rising Music Festival is not just a one time event; it embodies a vision for the future of music in our community. Imagine a festival that rivals the likes of Glastonbury, focusing on nurturing local talent. Our goal is to empower youth by giving them the spotlight essential for advancing their careers.

By creating a supportive and welcoming atmosphere that promotes creativity and collaboration, we aim to inspire a generation of musicians eager to share their unique stories through songwriting.
